The solar street light is 3000 lumens and has dimensions of 736.5mm x 224.5mm x 150mm. The unit has aluminium alloy and tempered glass construction and integrated LEDs. It has a light radius of 112 square meters and a colour temperature of 6500K.
Function
The solar street light has integrated solar panels on top of the unit to draw energy from sunlight during the day and automatically activates at night. The street light has a charging time of 9 hours by bright sunlight. There are 2 motion sensor modes to choose from, providing dynamic solar solutions for multiple environments and weather conditions. (Please see pdf manual or technical specs for details).

Our remote controlled solar powered street light would still work in conditions below -25°C and would not get damaged, however, its efficiency would certainly drop and charging time will be much slower. Once temperatures rise above -25°C the solar powered light fixture should work normally again.
The remote will turn the solar street light on and off at any time. While the remote's primary feature is to manage the different lighting modes, it does have on and off buttons that work separately from the automatic feature. Sorry for any confusion.
This 10,000 lumen light is meant to be mounted on a pole that is 2-3/8" in diameter.
The life expectancy of this solar powered street light fixture is 10 years. The solar powered street lights consist of 3 main components and we sell the replacements for them. The 3 components are the Solar Panel, Battery, LED panels. These solar powered street light come with a 3 year warranty so if any of those 3 components are defective within the 3 years we will replace for free.
The motion sensor on this D1151528 solar street light can not be turned off. This street light is designed to illuminate at 600 lumens for the first 5 hours. After the 5 hours, it will dim to 300 lumens, and if the sensor detects motion, it will illuminate to 3000 lumens for 30 seconds. It will continue this mode till dawn. We do have another model, D1173502, which will illuminate at 2000 lumens for 5 hours and then dim down to 500 lumens for the remainder of the night.
The lighting mode for this fixture is as follows; it will automatically turn on at dusk and illuminate at 1000 lumens. It will stay lit at 1000 lumen until motion is detected, if motion is detected the light fixture will illuminate at the full 10,000 lumens until motion is no longer detected for a full 30 seconds. If no motion is detected for 30 seconds it will dim back down to 1000 lumens. This is repeated the entire night until dawn when the fixture will automatically shut itself off.
Many factors come into play before we can recommend which solar powered light would work best to light up your private road. How long and wide is it? How tall is the pole? Whats the poles diameter? Do you want something motion activated?
The light can be installed on a pole you purchase at a hardware store. To be specific it will work perfectly with a chain link fence post. Just make sure to bury it deep in enough and add concrete to make it sturdy. This fixture can also be installed flush on a wall as well with anchor screws.
For a complete charge the fixture will need to harvest 10-11 hours of bright sunlight. Once completely charged, the batteries will have enough juice to power the light fixture for 3 full nights before needing another full 10-11 hour charge. This means that if you do not have a 10-11 hour charge every day you should be perfectly fine as long as it gets sufficient sunlight through out the day.
This 1000 lumen solar powered light fixture will work in pretty frigid temperatures. This fixture will work in a temperatures ranging from -25 to 65°C (-13 to 149°F). Anything colder than -25°C the solar powered light will no longer work.
The key switch is just to turn the light off or on before you put it up on the pole so you turn it on before putting it up. After this process it will work whenever it is dark and there no need to switch it anymore.
The recommended install height for our 3000 Lumen light fixture is around 13 feet high which will give you a light spread around 20 feet.
The life expectancy for this light is 10 years. The warranty is 3-years. However, can be prolonged much longer with replacement parts. We sell all the replacement parts for this fixture.
This solar street light already comes with a mounting bracket. This mounting bracket can be used to install on a pole or flush on a wall. If the fixture is pole mounted the pole cannot be more than 2 1/2" in diameter. If you're using a wooden pole, these tend to be a little thicker in diameter so you would most likely be able to mount it flush on the pole and anchor it in place with anchor screws directly to the pole.
The 1,000 lumen solar powered street light can not be adjusted. It comes from factory with a 45 degree angle when installed on top of a pole or flush on a wall.
The u-bolt for this product has a diameter of 60mm or 2 3/8", and the lamp post can have a diameter from 60 to 70mm or 2 3/8" to 2 3/4". If the pole you have is larger than this, you can use wedge anchors instead. If you have any other questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.
This solar powered street light comes with the battery connected and in a locked position from the factory. As the instructions state you must use the key provided and insert it into the key switch. This only needs to be done once. Insert the key all the way into the key switch hole. You will hear a click and then you must remove the key from the hole and it will be unlocked. There is no indicator to show you when its locked or unlocked but as long as you only did it one you are good to go.

Solar lights can function in -40 degrees C, however it is the battery that stops charging in really low temperatures. Deelat's solar lights are improving every year in regards to it's batteries and charging capabilities in low temperatures with a focus on better insulations as well as heating systems. We will be launching a series of Solar Street Lights that keep the batteries warm in cold temperatures which will launch in late 2021.
Hello Jeremy, thank you for your question. This fixture comes with a mounting bracket already installed on the unit and is designed to slide right into a pole no larger than 65MM (2.5") in diameter. I would say that a wooden utility pole would most likely be thicker than the max diameter of the bracket. That being said, you can most likely install this fixture with some sort of bracket that you can anchor to the utility pole and then slide the fixture's existing bracket into that one. Unfortunately we do not carry such type bracket.
Success! The contractor installed a bracket that holds a 2.5” Piotr at the top of the wooden pole and it slid on line a glove.
We provide the installation instructions. The instructions are included inside the box when the light fixture is received. The 1,000 Lumen Solar Powered Street Light has a light spread of roughly 20 ft depending on the install height. We recommend that they be installed every 25-30 ft to get optimal coverage and lighting. We have solar powered street lights with higher lumens if you want more light spread.

To the the solar light during the day you should cover the solar panel from sun light. There is a lux meter in the panel that will trigger the light to automatically turn on when it gets dark enough. If the solar light has not been installed on a pole yet we recommend to leave it out to get a full charge and then bring it indoors to a dark room to test.

The solar light can be installed flush onto a wall. The back piece of the universal mount can be removed and the light can be installed flush on the wall by drilling it securely onto the wall using screws.

The light fixture will come with a bracket that allows you to slide the fixture onto a pole and secure it in place. The bracket also allows the light to be adjusted so the light beam can be adjusted from 45 degrees to 90 degrees. The diameter of the bracket where the pole will be inserted is 65MM (2.5 in)
Summer and Winter mode has to do with the way the fixture charges its battery. During summer, the days are longer so you would want to run the light on summer mode so it can charge the battery slower since there is more sunlight for longer periods. Winter mode allows the fixture to charge the battery quicker because there are less hours of sunlight during winter. Please note that winter mode adds more stress to the panels and battery and should only be put on that mode when necessary. You can change mode through the remote provided
Every solar light fixture on our website will have a manufacturer's warranty. We can certainly provide a warranty certificate with your purchase that will outline the warranty in detail. You can download that certificate above. Please contact our customer support team if you have any issues.
We have several of these and as long as you get a good 6 hours of sun you should do ok.
I have one of these lights in our park and adding an outlet would likley require substantial re wiring and addition of an inverter. I would think that would void any warranty.

There are many options that would work but after speaking with you and getting a better understanding of your requirements and existing poles we will be able to point you in the right direction as to what solar powered light fixture would work best.
It all depends on how far you want it to spread. In the PDF with the specs it shows the spread you can get. I believe this light calls for 16’ high and that gets us about 8-10 meters.

1000 lumens compares to about a 65W incandescent bulb and about a 10W LED bulb. Our 1000 lumen solar powered light is very bright and would provide very good lighting to any backyard or open area.
As soon as the 1000 Lumen solar powered street light is fully charged (10 hours of bright sunlight) the solar powered light should illuminate for a full 3 nights before needing a full charge again. This means that after a full charge you can have 3 cloudy days in a row and the light should still perform as expected.

The light fixture is rated to withstand up to 150 MPH winds so we know the solar powered street light fixture will have no problems. However, we do not know what material of pole you are using and or if its buried or anchored. The question on whether it can withstand 110MPH and stay erect is a question for the pole manufacturer. You will have to contact the pole manufacturer with the specs of the solar light fixture which are provided above so they can determine if it can withstand that wind speed.
Our 10,000 lumen solar street light has a max install height of 33 feet. Anything below 33 feet will be OK to use. However, the shorter the pole the smaller the light spread.

No electricity is needed whatsoever but a pole between 4-6 meters tall is recommended to get the most light spread for this fixture. The solar powered street light will get some charge on an overcast day but will not charge as efficiently as a bright sunny day. The good thing about these solar powered street lights is that it can last 3 full nights on one full charge before having to be charged fully again. Charging time on this solar powered street light is 10-11 hours. This charge time is from completely dead battery to full charge.
A 3" pole will be too thick to fit the provided mounting bracket that comes with the D1151528 solar powered street light. If you look at the 3rd photo above, which is a close up of the mounting bracket, you will see the curved portion of the of the bracket which is suppose to wrap around the pole. That opening is one 2 1/4" in diameter, a 3" pole will not fit in that slot making it not possible to mount.
Our SKU# D1151528, 3000 Lumen Solar Powered Street Light, will be a perfect option for your driveway. We recommend installing a total of 5, 3000 Lumen Solar Powered Lights and installing them 10 meters apart. That will give you the perfect coverage and will provide a nice bright path. You can also go with D1151527 which is our 1000 Lumen Solar Powered Street Light. For the 1000 Lumen we would recommend 10 fixtures and have them at a distance of 5M apart.
The hardware that is provided with our 3000 lumen solar powered street light is the mounting bracket and the bolts. A small key is also provided to lock and unlock the battery.

There is the possibility to have the manufacturer set the color to what every color you need within that range, however, a minimum order quantity of 100 units would need to be purchased.
The solar powered street light's on/off button can not only be used to turn the solar powered light on and off like a normal light, but to lock and unlock the battery for the solar powered light. If the power buttons are not used, the solar powered street light will automatically turn on at dusk and will shut off at dawn. Once it shuts off, it goes into charging mode until dusk when it will automatically turn on again.
There are significant differences between our solar powered street light D1173504 and D1151528. D1151528 will only achieve full brightness for 30 seconds when motion is detected. D1173504 will emit full brightness for the first 5 hours and then dim to 25% for the rest of the evening. The solar panel and battery is also different in construction.

One 10,000 lumen solar powered light will not be enough to provide enough visibility to play on a court thats 47x50'. You would need at least 4 solar powered light fixtures. One on each corner of the court on a pole about 17' high.
The base of the pole can be any diameter, however, the top of the pole where you are going to mount the solar powered light cannot be any more that 60 mm which is about 2 3/8".

The color temperatures listed on the technical details for each item is the only color they will come in. The reason you do see a different range in some models is because the have a dim mode in which the color of the light is at a lower color temperature when its dim but will be at a higher color temperature at full brightness.
If the temperature goes below the -25°C range than the performance of the battery can be compromised. The cold temperatures will slow the recharging of the battery if the temp remains consistently below -25C. Above the -25°C you should have no problems.
The entire solar powered light fixture and all components have a 3-year warranty. it will cover the replacement or repair of the defective component. After the 3- year warranty has expired we do offer all replacement parts for sale.

The remote that is shipped with this solar light is the new updated remote that has more than 3 buttons. The remote with 3 buttons has been discontinued.

The solar powered light will certainly charge in indirect sunlight as long as its not in the shade. The solar light will charge but will be at a slower rate than a panel in direct sunlight.
The operating temperatures of our solar powered lights are -25c to 65c. If the temperatures reach below -25c, the charging of the unit can be severely affected because the extreme cold weather can damage the battery. We do not recommend using solar lights in areas with extreme cold temperatures during winter months.

This solar street light is designed to be installed at 10 to 13 feet, setting it at 8 feet will decrease the diameter of the circle of light that shines down. Thus, the light might not be adequate at that height. We recommend purchasing two of these lights and using them at 100 percent brightness.

We recommend setting up 10 lights at a height of 23 feet. On the 200 foot sides set up a total of 4 lights that are 65 feet apart. On the 120 foot sides set up a total of four lights that are 50 feet apart. The remaining two lights should be mounted on your existing poles.
It is best to install the lights at a height of about 7 meters with 20 meters distance between 2 of them. That would mean four lights on each of the 60 meter sides (one on each corner) for a total of 8 lights. However, at a height of 7 meters, the area of illumination for each light is approximately 20 meters, which would be adequate considering your space is 20 meters wide. If you feel that is enough light, then 4 lights would be adequate.
The solar street light will not charge as well without sun. But if the temperature is above freezing and the light is charged from previous sunlight, this solar powered light can last 3-4 days even in the rain.
If the battery on the solar street light is not broken, you do not need to change it. If the battery is broken, we can send you a new one under warranty. Bright sunlight is full sun exposure in any season, even in winter with below-freezing temperatures. Our factory does not produce the solar street light poles; they come from another factory in Hong Kong. If you only need one pole, we recommend ordering from a local workshop, as it will be expensive to ship overseas. For example, one 8m height pole costs $155/pc, plus the foundation case at $25, plus about $200 in logistic costs to get the pole from the pole factory to our solar light factory, and then we need to pay for the shipping cost to HK, and then HK to US. Thus, it is not worth it to order small quantities of poles. This product is mainly to be bought in bulk.
