The 255 mm in diameter spiral tunnel and mining duct has a length of 9.75M and is made out of a biaxial polyester. It is able to endure temperatures between -20°C and +80°C and positive pressure between 6000 and 8000pa.
Function
The spiral tunnel and mining duct allows air to travel through helix steel-coiled ducting, circulating fresh air or removing unwanted air. One end of the duct can be attached via strap to a ventilator, and the ducts can be attached to one another, inter-connecting them, using the same strapping method.
Applications
The spiral tunnel and mining duct may be used for a ventilation system in any extreme underground construction, especially when mines and tunnels need ventilation, and in any environment where positive or negative pressure is required. It can be used in conjunction with ventilation fans.
