The 255 mm in diameter PVC duct has a length of 7.62M and is made out of a PVC material. It is able to endure temperatures between -20°C and +80°C. It is built with a steel wire helix frame.
Function
The PVC duct allows air to travel through helix wire-framed ducting, circulating fresh air or removing unwanted air. One end of the flex duct can be attached via strap to a ventilator, and the ducts can be attached to one another, inter-connecting them, using the same strapping method. The PVC fabric of the duct ensures fire-resistance, and the exit end is fortified with a steel collar. The fabric of the duct ensures heat-resistance and can endure aging, burning, and acid.
Applications
These flexible duct products may be used in any environment with damaging chemicals, especially as floor ducting in a laboratory, or as lightweight ventilation in an attic or basement.

The PVC Flexible Air Ventilation Duct can withstand temperatures ranging from -4°F to 176°F. That being said, temperatures on a stove top can exceed 176°F so we wouldn't recommend using this particular PVC flexible duct. We do offer high temp ducting that would work much better for your application.

Our PVC flexible duct is made out of fire retardant PVC fabric with an integrated steel helix frame covered with a rubber strip. This material can withstand temperatures between -4°F to +176°F (-20°C to +80°C), repels oleic acid and water and is tear-resistant. The fabric thickness is 0.3 mm ~ 0.4 mm.

This 6" duct should work with your portable AC system as long as the outlet/intake connector is 6" or less. The duct is meant to slide over the connector and then tighten over it with the pull string on the end or duct clamp. The duct has no threading.
We do offer our ducts in custom lengths on special request. For custom lengths, the ducts are made to order and can take up to 3-4 weeks to deliver. The stack height for a 9 ft section would be approximately 6 inches when condensed.
There is really no way to prevent mice/rats from chewing threw the PVC flexible ducts. Mice and Rats can pretty much chew through anything in their path. The only way to prevent it is making sure the area in which the flexible ducting is being installed is eradicated of all mice/rats prior to the installation and have pest control do routine follow ups to make sure they didn't return. This is true for any kind of PVC flexible ducting.
The PVC flexible duct has a pull string that will collapse the end of the duct to shrink down to an 8" diameter. We would also recommend adding a duct clamp to secure it better. Even though you can use the 20" duct and collapse the end to a 8" we highly suggest that you use an 8" duct instead.
