The flameproof duct has a ventilation diameter of 205 mm, a length of 9.75M, and is made out of a PVC material. This flameproof equipment is able to endure temperatures between -20°C and +80°C.
Function
The flameproof duct allows air to travel through helix wire-framed ducting, circulating fresh air or removing unwanted air. One end of the duct can be attached via strap to a ventilator, and the ducts can be attached to one another, inter-connecting them, using the same strapping method. The PVC fabric of the duct ensures fire-resistance, and the steel wire structure and seamless body is conductive and anti-static. The steel wire in the duct may also be used to ground electricity for safer use.
Applications
Flameproof equipment may be used in petrochemical industries, and more specifically for oil refineries, engine rooms, or any volatile environment where explosions may occur.
