The heavy duty hinge is 100mm in height and made of extra thick and durable stainless steel. It features a security design and has an attractive satin finish.
Function
The heavy duty hinge connects to the door and door frame, allowing the door to open and close. Security hinges lock the two leaves of the hinge together when the door is closed. This way, if the pin is removed or the barrel is cut off the hinge, the two leaves remain locked into each other, preventing the person from entering.
Applications
Deelat’s various types of hinges are installed on doors and lids in household, commercial or other settings to ensure that they open and close smoothly. Hello Mathew, thank you for your question. You should have no problems if you use 4 double action hinges. Each set (2) of these double action hinges can handle up to 30KG. 4 hinges for one door would be 60 KG.

Hi, Robert. Yes, it is 90mm across both wings. LH is for the door pull to open and the hinge is on the left side.
Do I need left or right-handed hinges?
The only scenario where you need to worry if you need a left or right hand hinge is in the case of pull off hinges. The reason for this is since you want to be able to pull upwards to take the door off. All other hinge types can simply be turned upside down (flipped 180 degrees) and they will function right or left. Some hinge types don’t even need to be flipped. It really depends on the type of hinge.

There are a few factors to consider when purchasing a Deelat Double Action Spring Hinge. The width of the door , the weight of the door, and the placement of the hinge. Deelat sells a Double Action Spring Hinge that has a bolt to bolt width of 38mm and this may work, but you also will be required to bevel the door frame and the door on the edge in order for hinge to sit flush. The short answer is that it will depends on the way you want the hinge to be applied to the door and the doorframe.
